About the Event
About the Workshop
This workshop is designed to equip writers with everything they need to know in order to find an agent to represent their work.
Abi will provide an overview or what agents do, where to find one and how to approach them, including insights into how to prepare a strong submission package.
There will be plenty of time for Q+A.
Abi hopes to be able to provide personal feedback on synopses and covering letters for those who have drafted these already.
At registration, you will be asked if you would like to submit a draft of your covering letter and synopses to Abi before the workshop for feedback?
Abi would then use some of these as 'marked up' whiteboard examples in the interactive session. We do recomend you take up this great offer.
If yes, we will get back to you a few days before the event with instructions on when and where to send your covering letter and synopsis.
Who the workshop for?
Emerging, un-agented writers.
Abi works across most genres and age groups so this will have broad reach.
Partial Bursaries for writers who would otherwise be unable to attend are available for this workshop. To enquire about a bursary please email Paul, his email address is contact@outonthepage.co.uk
