About the Event
About the Workshop
afshan says – "Usually, for memoir based writing, I start with free writes and move onto asking participants to identity points of change in their life. That way we can focus the session on key moments and they can take what they’ve learnt and apply it to other types of writing. Depending on the needs of the participants (poetry, performative writing or essay-based writing) I change how we do the exercises.
We will also Invite attendees to join a QTIPOC Writers' Whatsapp Group after the event , to keep in touch and share opportunities etc.
Who is the workshop for?
QTIPOC writers at all levels including beginners.
