Six years in the Persian Gulf inspired my first novel Shaikh-Down (2009): a gay English banker helps kick-start regime change in an island emirate. The Dropout (2012) has a horny young hero who isn't gay but has to cope with gay overtures. In The Bexhill Missile Crisis (2014) four misfits, two of them gay, are targeted by a marauding motorcyclist during the 1962 Cuban crisis. Just published (April 2021), Lillian and the Italians: an English widow searches for her bisexual son in 1960s Italy.
I live a few miles outside Brighton. Extracts from my novels on www.davidgeebooks.com
