Fiona Graph

Fiona Graph was born in Sydney and travelled before settling in London. She worked variously as a psychologist, for an LGBT organisation and as a librarian, before ending up at the Foreign Office. Her youthful interest in writing came back strongly about five years ago. Fiona’s first book, praised by Helen Pankhurst as ‘an uplifting story which manages to address important and universal themes around vulnerability and courage’, was published in October 2020. She is interested in queer history, particularly early 20th century, as well as photography and swimming. A second novel will be published at the end of 2021.

supporting emerging LGBTQ+ writers
Out on the Page was set up in 2018 as an experimental project to bring together LGBTQ+ writers to write, support each other and to share information and experience.
Since then, we have held one-writing retreats, workshops, groups and cafe casual meetings across England.  We have also set up an online writer directory and forum for emerging LGBTQ+ writers.
We have received Arts Council England funding for 2020 to sustain and develop our much-needed work, including online events.
