
Jeremy Gavins is a professional dry-stone walling contractor living and working in the Lake District. He first book is a memoir about his life before and after the electric shock conversion therapy he received as a teenager in 1972. The book “Is it about that boy The Shocking Trauma of Aversion Therapy” was shortlisted for the TLC Pen Factor prize. He was instrumental in getting the Royal College of Psychiatry to apologise for the pain suffered by LGBT community at the hands of the Psychiatric profession.
