After co-managing the Uk's first Amsterdam Coffeeshop  94/96 - 'Dreadheads' , in my home town of Stoke on Trent, I moved to Manchester and wrote my first film script about this experience. Involving myself with the Manchester writing/theatre scene, I pitched to Gaydio Radio station and had two sucessful runs with 'Hairwaves' - a Camp Sitcom.

I am a performance poet - Mothers Ruin @The Royal Exchange. 'Railway poet' Virgin Trains- BBC /Radio5live.

National Poetry Day - shortlisted #Speakyourtruthpoem 2019.

supporting emerging LGBTQ+ writers
Out on the Page was set up in 2018 as an experimental project to bring together LGBTQ+ writers to write, support each other and to share information and experience.
Since then, we have held one-writing retreats, workshops, groups and cafe casual meetings across England.  We have also set up an online writer directory and forum for emerging LGBTQ+ writers.
We have received Arts Council England funding for 2020 to sustain and develop our much-needed work, including online events.
